Alessandra is an elementary school teacher who earned a degree in Education from the University of Ottawa. Prior to completing her Bachelor of Education, she studied Psychology at Concordia University. It was during that time that she discovered her calling to work with children. Throughout her education and ensuing career, Alessandra has worked in various educational settings, and with children with a wide range of abilities and readiness levels. While studying for her Masters in Educational Psychology at McGill University, Alessandra began working with children with academic, emotional, and behavioral difficulties. To this day, she continues to work with this unique clientele. Her tutoring and educational approach is to meet the child at their readiness level, and from there, develop the skills and strategies necessary to thrive in our modern school system. Alessandra considers it of utmost importance to develop a strong rapport with any child she works with in order to maximize learning, all while maintaining an engaging environment.
