Allie graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2018, with a BA (Hons) in English Literature. She applied to universities in the UK, the US, and Canada with considerable success, and is very familiar with the unique requirements of each process. She is eager to help students looking for support in any facet of these applications, from the SAT to personal statements. Allie also holds a DEC in Arts & Sciences from Marianopolis College, where she was awarded the title of Marianopolis Scholar for academic excellence as well as the Yale Book Award for outstanding personal character and intellectual promise. She attended LCC for high school; there, she enrolled in Enriched Physics & Chemistry, Enriched Math, and the PREP Liberal Arts program, and maintained Honour Roll throughout her time there. After completing her undergraduate degree, Allie worked as a tutor in London, where she taught students aged 6 to 18 English, Psychology, and general study skills. She also worked as an Editorial Assistant at Penguin Random House, following her passion for books and storytelling. Allie enjoys a broad range of subjects and is enthusiastic about sharing her love of learning with her students. She believes that the most important quality in a tutor is the ability to listen to and connect with each student, in order to adapt to individual strengths and challenges. Empathetic and patient by nature, she works hard to nurture her students’ confidence, allowing them to achieve their very best.
