Math, Calculus, Linear Algebra, Science, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Middle School, Secondary, CEGEP, Grade 12, Swimming

Angela is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s in Biomedical Engineering and Computer Science at McGill University. Not only is she at the top of her class, but she is also the youngest TA for Math-related subjects such as Logic and Calculus. Outside of academics, she has been a competitive swimmer for the past 5 years and taught swimming for Red Cross programs in British Columbia, through which she supported newborns to adults. She believes passionately that the foundations of great swimming begin with learning how to work with the water and to be safe. In her lessons, she integrates games and songs, but also ensures that the basics of water safety are understood and practiced. Angela excelled in breast stroke and diving and would love to share her technical knowledge to more advanced swimmers, in addition to those who are just learning to swim. Her swim coaching experiences helped her realize that there were few resources to support children with disabilities to engage in sports, which led her to work with the special olympics and help adapt the BC curriculum to better include students with disabilities into their physical education program. Angela has her Water Safety Instructor certificate as well as her First Aid/CPR certification.
