Ashley is a 3rd year McGill University student completing her Bachelor’s degree in Secondary English in the Faculty of Education. She holds a DEC in Social Science studies from John Abbott College and graduated from Villa Maria High School, where her strong work ethic developed. With various experiences from student-teaching internships, counsellor and instructor positions, Ashley possesses effective skills and strategies which she applies to her teaching. She was a Camp Counsellor at Sunny Acres camp for children 4 to 7 years old and volunteered extensively at the Montreal General hospital daycare with children 2 to 6 years old. Ashley is also a certified lifeguard and instructor and has been teaching swimming to children aged 2 to 12 years. Her familiarity and experience with educational pedagogy allows her to take a unique approach for each student’s needs and interests. Ashley is a dedicated individual with a passion for both teaching and learning.
