Dennis B.

Dennis is a full time student at Concordia University in Film Production. In addition to the arts and film, swimming has been his passion since a young age. Originally from Toronto, he started swimming competitively at 10 years old for the Toronto Swim Club and continued doing so for 7 years. He eventually moved on to coaching, earning his National Lifeguard Certification, CPR and, ultimately, his Swim Instructor Certification. He worked for many years as a lifeguard at a local country club, overseeing children as well as providing private lessons to children between the ages of 3-8 years old. Dennis’ pride himself on his expert communication with both the parents and the child, sharing his lesson plans and adapting based on the child’s interests and progress. He knows that swimming is an important life skill, and he feels privileged to be able to connect with people and provide them with the confidence to learn and embrace the water.
