As a graduate in Education from McGill University, Foti is a hardworking and poised individual with a diverse background in teaching environments and someone who consistently strives to have a positive impact on his students. Over the last four years, he has worked at both the elementary and high school levels, as well as organized and participated in activities outside of the traditional classroom. As a social studies educator, Foti has always valued the idea of scaffolding and breaking down complicated concepts into simple and informative examples that tailors to students’ needs and helps them better understand the subject matter. Furthermore, Foti values a constructivist approach wherein problem-based learning strategies and group-oriented activities are key to educational success. Along with his mastery of historical narratives, he also graduated from the Law, Justice & Society Program at Marianopolis College where he adopted his love for political science. Lastly, he is also a passionate Marvel, DC and videogame connoisseur that always tries to incorporate these modern and relevant cultural themes into his teaching methods!
