Jane is a 5th year PhD candidate studying Chemistry at McGill University. She completed her undergraduate degree in Chemistry with a Math Minor at Queen’s University, where she graduated with Honours and was consistently on the Dean’s List. Jane has over six years of experience tutoring both high school and undergraduate students in Chemistry and Mathematics both online and in-person. Her love for these subjects drives her to help students better understand difficult concepts by breaking it down into digestible pieces and assimilate the basic components in order to apply them across diverse problems and contexts. Over the years, Jane has successfully coached students into achieving excellent grades in math, chemistry and other sciences. Her ability to tailor her teaching practices, each lesson, to a student’s current needs is what sets her apart. Jane is dedicated to her students and enjoys developing a longer term relationship to support them as they progress through different subjects and grades and, most importantly, build their confidence.
