Léa is currently completing her studies in the Microprogramme de 2e cycle en enseignement postsecondaire at Université de Montréal. She is also a French tutor at the Learning Center of Collège Ahuntsic. After her studies, Léa would like to teach French literature at the CEGEP/Unviersity level. Having completed all of her primary, secondary and college studies at Collège international Marie de France with honors, she graduated from McGill University in French Literature and History with first class honors in 2017. She also completed a Masters in French literature at Université de Montréal, where she graduated in August 2020 with honors.

Trilingual in French, English and Italian, Léa started tutoring French and History in 2017, first for Les Services des Génies, then freelancing. Over the last few years, she has been a French tutor for La 2e Classe and at the Learning Centers of Cégep Gérald-Godin and Marianopolis College. During the Fall 2018 semester, she completed a teaching internship at Collège Ahuntsic with students in the Arts and Letters program. In the Winter 2019 semester, she was a teacher’s assistant in her department at Université de Montréal.

Having studied in a French school for the major part of her studies, Léa has an extensive knowledge of the French school system’s programs and pedagogical approaches. She also acquired skills to help students with attention and focus difficulties thanks to her experience with her students and an online training given by Université Laval, completed in 2021. Léa appreciates sharing her knowledge and she wishes to communicate her passion for culture. In her tutoring practice, Léa favors an individualized approach based on mutual respect, listening, patience, and personal growth.
