After graduating with academic distinction, Leila was led by her passion for the natural sciences and sustainability to pursue a B.Eng in Chemical Engineering at McGill University. Leila’s first tutoring experience was sparked by a strong desire to give back to her community. She began mentoring students in her high school’s Model UN & debate program before transitioning to more technical subjects such as chemistry, physics and mathematics. Now, Leila’s years of experience as a tutor, peer counsellor, coupled with her positive attitude enable her to raise students’ confidence in a diverse array of subjects. Outside of academics, Leila is also a lover of sports and the outdoors as well as a big advocate for women in STEM!
