Lisa is a second-year student at McGill University studying Life Sciences, specializing in Wildlife Biology. Committed to her studies, Lisa was awarded a scholarship of excellence from the Institut National de la Recherche Scientifique de Québec for her summer research internship. After obtaining her Bachelor’s degree, Lisa’s goal is to study veterinary medicine. Lisa is bilingual in French and English ready to teach students in either language! In France, she obtained the French national diploma at the end of her pre-university studies, with the highest distinction. During her pre-university studies, Lisa spent a year of high school in the United States, where she perfected her English. During her year in the USA, Lisa volunteered as a teaching assistant for her French language teacher. In this role, she led conversation sessions to help them make progress in learning the French language. Lisa loves the arts. She developed her artistic creativity during her studies at the Conservatory of Music and Dance and at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in France, followed by 12 years of extracurricular activities. Thanks to her creativity and the knowledge she has acquired in various fields, Lisa uses various learning methods and media to captivate her students’ interest, make them enjoy the lessons and get them involved. Lisa’s demanding and varied training has taught her patience and perseverance, which she practices with her students. She is passionate about sparking confidence in her students and prepare them as they navigate their academic journeys.
