Max M.

Max is a 20-year-old student at Concordia University. He has been swimming his entire life and has grown to love the sport. He first began swimming competitively and then began working as a lifeguard. Max’s job was teaching swimming, and he’s been in the aquatics business ever since! When teaching swimming, it’s important to be in the water on the same level as your students. It’s easy to forget that being in the water can be an uncomfortable or even scary experience for kids, so he’s found that getting on their level and showing them that the water is a safe space is one of the most encouraging aspects. Max feels most free when he is swimming and hopes to garner this same feeling in all of his students. Max is eager to impart his swimming wisdom to his students to allow them to tap into their full potentials!
