Max completed his Bachelor of Science with a Major in Biology and is currently pursuing a MSc in Experimental Surgery. His thesis is focused on determining to what extent patient and procedure characteristics predict persistent opioid use after colorectal surgery. He holds his DEC from Dawson College in Pure & Applied Science and graduated from Collège de Montréal, where he completed his high school studies in French. Max was recognized with McGill’s Science Undergraduate Research Award for his work as a Research Assistant throughout 2019 and scored in the 98th percentile of his MCAT exam.  Throughout these diverse experiences, he gained first-hand knowledge of lab techniques, dissections, microscopy and learned the trials of the scientific method.  Max has worked extensively with students, tutoring both privately and as a volunteer. Max tutors math, physics, chemistry and biology. His volunteering experience at the Montreal General Hospital, the Shriners Hospital for Children and a MEDLIFE humanitarian trip to Peru are all testament to his inherent love for helping people and for applying his passions of medicine
