Natalie is a certified French elementary teacher. Perfectly bilingual in French and English with some basic Spanish, she has been teaching in and out of the classroom for over 15 years. Her specialties include French, FSL, ESL and Math. She holds a BA from Concordia University and then earned her Bachelor of Education in French, at Ottawa University. Natalie has worked with a diverse range of students, aged 5-17, including those with learning disorders such as ADHD and Dyslexia. She has taught in Ontario with the Toronto District School Board, Quebec for the Lester B Pearson School Board and at College Bourget, in Rigaud. She has gained an appreciation for the diverse challenges that children face at various ages and grades. Stepping away from the classroom for the last few years has allowed her to focus on doing what she loves most, teaching kids. Tutoring one on one has allowed her to work with her students’ specific needs, giving them the confidence and tools to be successful. Her approach engages her students to be active learners throughout the lessons. Natalie creates a supportive, encouraging and safe space for her students. She uses effective pedagogical strategies, which ensures that every student she works with reaches their full potential.
