Rosetta is currently pursuing her Education degree at the University of Ottawa, focused on teaching at the Intermediate and Senior levels. Her main teachable subjects are Physical Education & Health and Biology. She previously earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Bishop’s University in Sports Studies and Biology, and also holds her DEC from Dawson College in Psychology. Outside of her formal education, Rosetta has gained much experience teaching English as a Second Language (ESL), Science and History and has worked in several day camps over a period of 7 years, working with children from the ages of 2 to 17. Rosetta has worked and supported children through tutoring, as a one-on-one aide, a coach and in a group classroom setting. Across all of these experiences and formats, she has worked with students of all ages and profiles, including those with learning difficulties and various special needs. As such, she has accumulated and perfected many techniques and methods to help students achieve their academic and social goals. She encourages her students by building their confidence and providing them with the tools to contribute in a classroom setting.
