Sarah earned a bachelor’s in Linguistics from Concordia University with a minor in Psychology. She continued with a Master’s from McGill in Arts of Teaching and Learning (MATL) with a teachable in English as a Second Language (ESL). She is in her seventh year working at Summit School as a Special Needs teacher. Her experience ranges from teaching at the modified primary level to adults with various learning disabilities. Sarah is bilingual in English and French and is currently teaching French as a Second Language to adults at her school. Levels are varied and she does her best to differentiate the lessons in order to challenge and support the students appropriately. She has taken a passion in building fun and meaningful lessons for her students through worksheets, visuals, conversation prompts, Smartboard games, and apps. The goal is to work together with the students in helping them achieve their objectives and making it functional for their day-to-day lives.
