Savina has been skating for 18 years, which has given her invaluable experience teaching and working with children. She is currently completing her final year in her Honours Undergraduate degree in Psychology alongside a Minor in Law at Carleton University. Her avid interest in psychology has helped her gain a detailed understanding of learning as a whole. She holds the importance of creating a strong understanding between individuals by prioritizing active listening to have a meaningful connection. Her compassion for others aids in her teaching approach by ensuring a safe, fun and educational space to provide the best learning experience. Growing up, she picked up a few languages, such as Punjabi, Hindi and German, on top of English and French. In addition, Savina holds a National Lifeguarding licence from La Société de Sauvetage and a CPR/AED certification from Red Cross. Her career aspirations include obtaining her psychotherapy licence and incorporating her holistic approach to help others live a life they love.
