Simona holds a Bachelor of Specialized Arts Education and has been teaching for over 20 years with proven results. She has focused on French as second language learning, tutoring, educational mentorship and vocational learning and skills development in the sector of education. For the last 3 years she has been a Kindergarten and primary school teacher in Francisation, at the Centre de services scolaire des Grandes Seigneuries,. Simona is passionate about alternative approaches to education. the integration of real-life context and new didactic practices in the learning process and increased consideration of educational psychology, particularly for youth who she believes need more personalized support for better cognitive and emotional development. In 2022, Simona won the ‘Prix d`Excellence INNOVATEURS!’, awarded in Paris by the Ministry of Culture and Communication and recognizes organizations represented by individuals who, through their talent, creativity and innovation, contribute to France and the French language’s influence.
