Stephanie holds a PhD in Education, as well as a Master of Arts in Child Studies, and a Bachelor in Elementary School Education. She currently works at Concordia University in Reading Research and Teacher Training. She has published several academic studies in this area, some of which have resulted in news coverage. As a result, she was selected as Concordia Newsmaker of the month by the University (March 2021). Stephanie is skilled at disseminating knowledge to a wide range of students and enjoys working together with learners to find the optimal learning strategies for each student. A constructivist at heart, Stephanie believes in the importance of relating academic content to student’s own experiences. She also believes in the power of a good book. As an avid reader, Stephanie prides herself in being the person students come to for book recommendations.
