Vincent is studying Biomedical Sciences at the Université de Montréal. His academic journey reflects his great interest in health sciences, although his intellectual curiosity has always motivated him to look further into different subjects such as the French language, philosophy, psychology and economics. Vincent is very invested in his learning, which has helped him achieve a perfect GPA of 4.3. Passionate about the pursuit and sharing of knowledge, Vincent took on an internship at the Sainte-Justine Hospital to confirm his interest in research. He would love to combine his love for scientific research and teaching and become a professor.
In summer 2019, Vincent was a counsellor at a day camp specialized in robotics where he taught the basics of programming and provided a fun, collaborative environment for the children. At the Université de Montréal, Vincent is currently a mentor who works with high school students to encourage them to undertake a research project. Vincent has been involved in peer tutoring programs throughout high school and college. Through his experience tutoring French, Math and Science, he has consistently proven that his support goes well beyond the subject at hand. He grows with the student, at their pace, in order to reach his or her academic goals and to cultivate the values and competencies of self-confidence, autonomy, determination and accountability.
