Swimming

Paige is a dedicated and enthusiastic swim coach with several years of experience working with children of all ages and skill levels. She is currently a student at Queen’s University and has spent the past four summers working as a lifeguard and swim instructor, where she led both group lessons and small training sessions. Paige has coached a wide range of swimmers—from toddlers in parent-and-tot classes to children developing their technique and confidence in the water. She has experience teaching beginner swimmers through play-based methods, using games and creative activities to help young learners feel comfortable and engaged. She has also coached swim teams and introduced more advanced skills, including stroke development, endurance, and water confidence. In addition, she has taught water polo and synchronized swimming, further expanding her ability to work with different styles and goals in the water. Known for her warm, patient, and energetic personality, Paige creates a safe and supportive environment where swimmers feel encouraged to try new skills and build confidence. She adapts her coaching style to each swimmer’s needs, whether that means helping a beginner overcome their fear of the water or refining technique for more experienced swimmers. Fully certified in NLS and CPR, Paige prioritizes safety while making lessons fun, structured, and engaging. Her goal is to help every swimmer feel comfortable, confident, and proud of their progress in the water.
