Swimming
Ahmed Ibrahim is an experienced swim instructor and certified lifeguard with a strong passion for teaching in the aquatics field. He is currently studying Pure and Applied Science at Collège Ahuntsic, where he also plays varsity volleyball, and plans to continue his studies in civil engineering. Having started swimming at a young age and later joining his high school swim club, Ahmed developed a lasting connection to the water and began pursuing lifeguarding and swim instruction while still in high school. With over three years of experience teaching, Ahmed has worked with swimmers of all ages, from babies as young as six months to adults. He has taught private and group lessons, supported students with special needs, and worked with swimmers in rehabilitation contexts. He has also served as a safety supervisor, where he trained and evaluated new instructors. Ahmed’s coaching style is structured, attentive, and encouraging. He begins by assessing each swimmer’s level and understanding the family’s goals, then builds lessons around steady progression. He uses games, rings, kickboards, noodles, drills, and playful challenges to help swimmers develop skills in a fun and purposeful way. Certified in CPR and NLS, Ahmed prioritizes safety while creating a positive learning environment. He focuses on building trust, adapting to each swimmer’s personality, and helping every student feel confident, capable, and safe in the water.
