Erika is a certified teacher, having completed a bachelor’s degree in Education at McGill University with a specialization in Mathematics. She then went on to complete a Masters of Finance at McGill University and is currently enrolled in a Masters of Arts in Educational Leadership. Throughout her education at McGill University, she received multiple academic scholarships. For the last four years she has been working as a high school math teacher at the English Montreal School Board. Throughout her teaching career, she has taught all levels of math from secondary 1-5, including advanced math in secondary 4 and 5. She has her bilingual certification and has taught in both English and French. Erika has been tutoring students of all ages and levels (elementary to university) for the last nine years. As a teacher and tutor, Erika has always had a special ability to break down content for students in order to make it simple for them to understand and apply. Erika’s personal philosophy is to always position students competently, empower them, and build their confidence. There is nothing she enjoys more than watching her students succeed and begin to feel confident in their own abilities.
