Julia is currently studying Civil Engineering at Polytechnique Montréal. Passionate about sharing knowledge and education, she aims to pursue a career in teaching at the college level. For over five years, Julia has been involved in the fields of teaching and training. She has worked as a swimming, lifesaving, and aqua fitness instructor, in addition to teaching prenatal classes and leading specialized day camps. These experiences have allowed her to develop strong adaptability skills while working with a wide range of learners, from young children to adults. Julia can support primary school students with homework support and executive functioning, as well as higher level students for both Math and Science. She has also completed several complementary trainings that helped her refine her teaching tools, including educational games, differentiated teaching strategies, and adaptations to various learning profiles (ADHD, visual, auditory, schematic, etc.). She supported a child throughout his entire elementary school years, assisting with homework and accompanying him to speech therapy sessions. This experience allowed her to develop new learning techniques, strengthen her patience, and adapt her teaching approach to the specific needs and pace of each learner. Julia is known for her clear explanations, patience, and ability to make learning concrete and engaging.
