Karl graduated in Physical & Health Education from McGill University in 2018. For the past two years, he has been teaching French as a second language at Lower Canada College in Montreal. Karl played and coached football throughout University and it was through coaching that he realized his love for kids and decided to pursue a career in Education. He began at LCC as a faculty intern, substituting at all levels (Kindergarten to Grade 11) as well as coaching various sports. As a perfectly bilingual teacher, he then transitioned to teaching French in the classroom to LCC’s international students. Over the past 2 years, Karl has developed strong links with his students, whom he works hard with in order to ensure they move up in LCC’s 6 French phases grid. Karl is very comfortable working with students one-on-one, both in person and online, and is considered a very dynamic teacher who never ceases to find creative ways of connecting with kids of all ages. His original passion for sports turned into something even more meaningful for him: supporting and inspiring kids.
