Rihab is currently finishing her first year of biomedical mechanical engineering bachelor’s at the university of Ottawa. She holds a diploma of college studies in natural science. Simultaneously, she is a lifeguard and swimming instructor at the municipal pool of Blainville. Being an aspiring patent lawyer, she aims to get her bachelor’s degree in engineering to obtain a Juris Doctor degree afterwards. She completed high school at Lucille-Teasdale where she took strong math and science in secondary 4 and strong math, chemistry and physics in secondary 5. During those two years she assisted science teachers in laboratories of younger years. Her role consisted of preparing the material, answering students questions to prepare them for the laboratory exam and helping with any technical difficulties. During her high school years she obtained five certificates of merit in total in maths, french, english, plastic arts and academic perseverance. During her college studies in natural science, she was a guide in the college’s open-doors for two winter semesters. She presented various classes of different science subjects and answered high school students and parents questions. She also had the chance to do a biodiversity internship in Costa-Rica in January 2025 where she did research for her program synthesis project.
